Terms of service
The service
Outbox turns client emails into a board of requests with files, versions and history. It is provided by [legal entity] (“we”). By creating a workspace you agree to these terms.
Plans
- Solo — free. Unlimited clients, Gmail and Outlook, board, versions, search, client download pages, 2 GB of storage. No card required.
- More space — 5 GB packs for the price shown on the pricing page, billed monthly in advance. Add or remove packs at any time; changes are prorated. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.
- Team — coming soon. Seats free for early accounts, storage pooled per workspace, white-label download pages.
Storage behaviour: we warn you at 80% of your space and stop new uploads at 100%. We never delete your files to make room. Versions count against your space. If you remove a pack and your files exceed what is left, uploads pause until you free space; nothing is deleted.
Fair use
Outbox is priced for one designer or studio working with real clients. To keep Solo free, some limits apply.
- One free workspace per person or business. Several free workspaces to stack free storage are not allowed.
- Storage is for files that belong to client requests. It is not a general file locker or a way to distribute files to the public. Each file is capped at 5 GB.
- Uploads are expected to stay within about five times your storage each month. Downloads are never counted. If you go past that we warn you first and talk to you if it keeps happening.
- Sync and AI classification are meant for normal mailbox activity. Automated re-syncing or connecting mailboxes with no client work in them may be slowed or paused.
- Current technical limits (which we may adjust): 2 connected mailboxes on Solo, 5 on Team; 60 sync passes an hour; 500 AI classifications a day on Solo, 5,000 on Team.
If usage looks automated or outside these limits, we may, in this order: slow or pause the action; ask you to complete a human check (Cloudflare Turnstile); ask you to verify a mobile number; and, as a last resort, suspend the workspace. We tell you which step applies and why, and you can reply to contest it. Paying customers are never suspended without notice except for illegal content.
Your account and your mail
You must own or be authorised to use any mailbox you connect. You are responsible for choosing which client addresses Outbox may read and for the content you upload. Outbox reads mail; it does not send, move or delete it. Reply drafts are created only when you enable them and are sent only by you.
Your content
Everything you import or upload stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, display and process it so the service works. We do not use your content for anything else.
Acceptable use
Do not use Outbox to store or share material that is illegal, infringes someone’s rights, or contains malware. Do not try to access other people’s workspaces or overload the service. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. See also Fair use above.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Outbox available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is by email at [contact email].
Liability
Outbox is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the service
You can delete your workspace at any time. We may end the service with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you breach these terms. Your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email 30 days ahead. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
